STATUS CODE DESCRIPTION
FAIL 1031.7-Emergency escape Required emergency escape and rescue openings shall be maintained in accordance
and rescue openings with the code in effect at the time of construction,and the following: Required
emergency escape and rescue openings shall be operational from the inside of the
room without the use of keys or tools. Bars,grilles,grates or similar devices are
allowed to be placed over emergency escape and rescue openings provided the
minimum net clear opening size complies with the code that was in effect at the time
of construction and such devices shall be releasable or removable from the inside
without the use of a key,tool or force greater than that which is required for normal
operation of the emergency escape and rescue opening.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON-Comments:Egress window well needs cleaned out.
Egress window screen will not move in the window track stopping exit through
window in event of a fire.
FAIL 605.1 -Abatement of Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. Identified hazardous electrical conditions
electrical hazards in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the responsible code official.
Electrical wiring,devices,appliances and other equipment that is modified or
damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used.
Inspector:BARRY STRATTON-Comments:Electrical system is not grounded.Ground
wire not connected.GFCI in bathroom will not trip.Globes needed on all light fixtures.
Cover in bathroom above door not secure.
FAIL 906.1 -Where required Portable fire extinguishers shall be installed in all of the following locations: 1.In new
and existing Group A, B, E, F, H, I, M,R-1,R-2, R-4 and S occupancies. Exception: In
Group R-2 occupancies, portable fire extinguishers shall be required only in locations
specified in Items 2 through 6 where each dwelling unit is provided with a portable
fire extinguisher having a minimum rating of 1-A: 10-B:C.2.Within 30 feet(9144 mm)
of commercial cooking equipment.3. In areas where flammable or combustible
liquids are stored, used or dispensed.4.On each floor of structures under
construction,except Group R-3 occupancies, in accordance with Section 3315.1. 5.
Where required by the sections indicated in Table 906.1.6.Special-hazard areas,
including but not limited to laboratories, computer rooms and generator rooms,
where required by the fire code official.

not open. Fabric on basement bedroom ceiling not fire rated and needs removed.

inspections.Supply lines not installed to meet code requirements.Water heater is
also missing a discharge tube.Still not permits obtained.

Structures in which insects or rodents are found shall be promptly exterminated by
approved processes that will not be injurious to human health.After pest elimination,
proper precautions shall be taken to prevent reinfestation.
