openable from the egress side without the use of a key or special knowledge or
effort.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON-Comments:Jambs broken and not weather tight.
FAIL 1031.7-Emergency escape Required emergency escape and rescue openings shall be maintained in accordance
and rescue openings with the code in effect at the time of construction,and the following: Required
emergency escape and rescue openings shall be operational from the inside of the
room without the use of keys or tools. Bars,grilles,grates or similar devices are
allowed to be placed over emergency escape and rescue openings provided the
minimum net clear opening size complies with the code that was in effect at the time
of construction and such devices shall be releasable or removable from the inside
without the use of a key,tool or force greater than that which is required for normal
operation of the emergency escape and rescue opening.

damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used.

FAIL R6-Interior Structure Has the interior of the structure and equipment inside been maintained in good
repair,structurally sound,and in a sanitary condition?(IPMC 305)
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON-Comments:Bedroom ceiling falling in. Peeling paint
throughout house,mold growing on basement walls.Material that has been
damaged by water needs removed and replaced. Egress path blocked by front
entrance. Bath door jamb needs replaced.Flooring damage and needs replaced.
Missing thresholds throughout. Basement handrail not attached, Egress window has
no crank. Back door jamb broken and not weather tight.Windows broken and do not
open and close. Register covers not attached to vents.Upstairs tub not working and
faucet is broken and water continues to run.All peeling and abraded paint will need
corrected. Sewage back up in basement. Mold still present on walls.
