RESOLUTION NO. 2013-447
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO
SCHMITT TELECOM PARTNERS, INC. OF WATERLOO,
IOWA IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE CITY TELEPHONE
REPLACEMENT PROJECT, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$147,842.15.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the Contract with Schmitt Telecom Partners, Inc. of
Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of $147,842.15, in conjunction with
the City Telephone Replacement Project, described in the
specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
project with Resolution No. 2013-296, after public hearing on
April 22, 2013 on published notice required by law, be and is
hereby awarded, the same being the lowest bid received for said
work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the said improvements, said
contract not to be binding on the City until approved by this
Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of May, 2013.
