FAiL 105.6.44-Storage of scrap An operational permit is required to establish,conduct or maintain storage of scrap
tires and tire byproducts tires and tire byproducts that exceeds 2,500 cubic feet(71 mA3)of total volume of
scrap tires,and for indoor storage of tires and tire byproducts.
inspector: BARRY STRATTON-Comments:
FAIL 503.2.1 - Dimensions Fire apparatus access roads shall have an unobstructed width of not less than 20 feet
(6096 mm),exclusive of shoulders, except for approved security gates in accordance
with Section 503.6,and an unobstructed vertical clearance of not less than 13 feet 6
inches(4115 mm).
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON-Comments:Apparatus road still not cleared for access
for fire personnel.
FAIL 605.5- Extension cords Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be a substitute for permanent wiring.
Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be affixed to structures, extended
through walls,ceilings or floors,or under doors or floor coverings, nor shall such
cords be subject to environmental damage or physical impact. Extension cords shall
be used only with portable appliances.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON-Comments: Extension cords still in use.
FAIL 703.1.3-Fire walls,fire Required fire walls,fire barriers and fire partitions shall be maintained to prevent the
barriers and fire partitions passage of fire. Openings protected with approved doors or fire dampers shall be
maintained in accordance with NFPA 80.

FAIL 703.2-Opening protectives Opening protectives shall be maintained in an operative condition in accordance with
NFPA 80.Where allowed by the fire code official,the application of field-applied labels
associated with the maintenance of opening protectives shall follow the
requirements of the approved third-party certification organization accredited for
listing the opening protective. Fire doors and smoke barrier doors shall not be
blocked or obstructed,or otherwise made inoperable. Fusible links shall be replaced
promptly whenever fused or damaged. Fire door assemblies shall not be modified.

FAIL 906.1 -Where required Portable fire extinguishers shall be installed in all of the following locations: 1. In new
and existing Group A, B, E, F, H,I, M,R-1, R-2, R-4 and S occupancies. Exception: In
Group R-2 occupancies, portable fire extinguishers shall be required only in locations
specified in Items 2 through 6 where each dwelling unit is provided with a portable
fire extinguisher having a minimum rating of 1-A: 10-B:C.2.Within 30 feet(9144 mm)
of commercial cooking equipment.3. In areas where flammable or combustible
liquids are stored, used or dispensed.4. On each floor of structures under
construction,except Group R-3 occupancies, in accordance with Section 3315.1. 5.
Where required by the sections indicated in Table,906.1.6.Special-hazard areas,
including but not limited to laboratories, computer rooms and generator rooms,
where required by the fire code official.
