FAIL 1010.1.9- Door operations Except as specifically permitted by this section,egress doors shall be readily
openable from the egress side without the use of a key or special knowledge or
effort.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON-Comments:Screen door lock set does not secure door
to lock catch.
FAIL 605.1 -Abatement of Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. Identified hazardous electrical conditions
electrical hazards in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the responsible code official.
Electrical wiring,devices,appliances and other equipment that is modified or
damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON-Comments: Need outlet covers on all outlets
(basement). Extension cords need removed. Light at front door has broken globe still
not fixed.
FAIL 605.5- Extension cords Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be a substitute for permanent wiring.
Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be affixed to structures,extended
through walls,ceilings or floors,or under doors or floor coverings,nor shall such
cords be subject to environmental damage or physical impact. Extension cords shall
be used only with portable appliances.

FAIL 906.1 -Where required Portable fire extinguishers shall be installed in all of the following locations: 1. In new
and existing Group A,B, E, F, H,I,M,R-1,R-2, R-4 and S occupancies. Exception: In
Group R-2 occupancies, portable fire extinguishers shall be required only in locations
specified in Items 2 through 6 where each dwelling unit is provided with a portable
fire extinguisher having a minimum rating of 1-A: 10-B:C.2.Within 30 feet(9144 mm)
of commercial cooking equipment.3. In areas where flammable or combustible
liquids are stored,used or dispensed.4. On each floor of structures under
construction,except Group R-3 occupancies, in accordance with Section 3315.1. 5.
Where required by the sections indicated in Table 906.1.6.Special-hazard areas,
including but not limited to laboratories, computer rooms and generator rooms,
where required by the fire code official.

FAIL R4- Exterior Property Areas Is the exterior property area maintained in a clean,safe,and sanitary condition?This
includes grading and drainage,sidewalks and driveways,weeds,and pest
infestations.(IPMC 302)
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON-Comments:Front steps need replaced. Concrete is
decayed and holes have formed from failure.Gutters need cleaned out and gutter
extensions need to be installed.Still not done
FAIL R6- Interior Structure Has the interior of the structure and equipment inside been maintained in good
repair,structurally sound,and in a sanitary condition?(IPMC 305)
Inspector:BARRY STRATTON-Comments:Tub surround needs replaced.Bathroom
window has water damage and mold in forming on damaged wood. Bath fan need
cleaned. Leak in foundation in basement needs repaired. Handrail is needed to
basement.

BARRY STRATTON-10/24/2022 a 13:09 304.5 Foundation walls. Foundation walls shall be maintained plumb and free from
open cracks and breaks and shall be kept in such condition so as to prevent the entry
of rodents and other pests.304.6 Exterior walls. Exterior walls shall be free from holes,
breaks,and loose or rotting materials;and maintained weatherproof and properly
surface coated where required to prevent deterioration.Standing water in basement
needs corrected.
BARRY STRATTON- 10/24/2022 @ 13:10 304.7 Roofs and drainage.The roof and flashing shall be sound,tight and not have
defects that admit rain. Roof drainage shall be adequate to prevent dampness or
deterioration in the walls or interior portion of the structure. Roof drains,gutters and
downspouts shall be maintained in good repair and free from obstructions. Roof water
shall not be discharged in a manner that creates a public nuisance.
BARRY STRATTON-10/24/2022 6,13:10 304.12 Handrails and guards. Every handrail and guard shall be firmly fastened and
capable of supporting normally imposed loads and shall be maintained in good
condition.

be kept in sound condition,good repair and weather tight.
BARRY STRATTON-10/24/2022 @ 13:10 304.15 Doors. Exterior doors, door assemblies,operator systems if provided,and
hardware shall be maintained in good condition. Locks at all entrances to dwelling
units and sleeping units shall tightly secure the door. Locks on means of egress doors
shall be in accordance with Section 702.3.

and balcony,and all appurtenances attached thereto,shall be maintained structurally
sound, in good repair,with proper anchorage and capable of supporting the imposed
loads.

and electrical facilities and equipment in compliance with these requirements.A
person shall not occupy as owner-occupant or permit another person to occupy any
premises that does not comply with the requirements of this chapter.Condensate line
possibly plugged on furnace.
