FAIL 1008.2-Illumination required The means of egress serving a room or space shall be illuminated at all times that the
room or space is occupied. Exceptions: 1.Occupancies in Group U.2.Aisle
accessways in Group A.3. Dwelling units and sleeping units in Groups R-1,R-2 and R-
3.4.Sleeping units of Group I occupancies.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON-Comments:Light missing in hallway in laundry room.
FAIL 1031.2-Reliability Required exit accesses,exits and exit discharges shall be continuously maintained
free from obstructions or impediments to full instant use in the case of fire or other
emergency where the building area served by the means of egress is occupied.An
exit or exit passageway shall not be used for any purpose that interferes with a
means of egress.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON-Comments: Frame around door to unit# 1 is missing.
FAIL 506.1 -Where required Where access to or within a structure or an area is restricted because of secured
openings or where immediate access is necessary for life-saving or fire-fighting
purposes,the fire code official is authorized to require a key box to be installed in an
approved location.The key box shall be of an approved type listed in accordance with
UL 1037,and shall contain keys to gain necessary access as required by the fire code
official.
Inspector:BARRY STRATTON-Comments:Need a knox box on exterior of building for
fire department access in case of medical emergency.
FAIL 605.1 -Abatement of Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. Identified hazardous electrical conditions
electrical hazards in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the responsible code official.
Electrical wiring,devices,appliances and other equipment that is modified or
damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used.

FAiL 703.1 -Maintenance The required fire-resistance rating of fire-resistance-rated construction,including,
but not limited to,walls,firestops,shaft enclosures, partitions,smoke barriers,
floors,fire-resistive coatings and sprayed fire-resistant materials applied to
structural members and fire-resistant joint systems,shall be maintained.Such
elements shall be visually inspected by the owner annually and properly repaired,
restored or replaced where damaged,altered, breached or penetrated. Records of

shall be protected with approved methods capable of resisting the passage of smoke
and fire.Openings through fire-resistance-rated assemblies shall be protected by
self-or automatic-closing doors of approved construction meeting the fire protection
requirements for the assembly.

covered up.Ceiling tiles missing and ceiling tiles damaged need replaced.
FAIL 907.2.11 -Single-and Listed single-and multiple-station smoke alarms complying with UL 217 shall be
multiple-station smoke installed in accordance with Sections 907.2.11.1 through 907.2.11.E and NFPA 72.

weather striping and seals rotten.Window moves in track allowing air to come into
apartment.
