RESOLUTION NO. 2026-389
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FY27 FUNDING
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE WATERLOO/CEDAR
FALLS HOME CONSORTIUM ANNUAL ACTION PLAN
WITH COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, participates in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls
HOME Consortium for the purpose of administering HOME Investment Partnerships Program
funds and supporting eligible housing and community development activities; and
WHEREAS, Community Development of Waterloo, Iowa, has prepared FY27 funding
recommendations for inclusion in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls HOME Consortium Annual Action
Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the FY27 funding recommendations and
finds that approval of said recommendations is in the best interest of the City and consistent with
applicable program requirements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to approve the FY27 funding recommendations and
authorize execution of the related Annual Action Plan documents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The FY27 funding recommendations for the Waterloo/Cedar Falls HOME
Consortium Annual Action Plan with Community Development of Waterloo, Iowa, are hereby
approved..
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of July 2026.
