RESOLUTION NO. 2026-390
RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBMISSION OF THE FY27
ANNUAL ACTION PLAN TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF
HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT ON OR ABOUT
JULY 30, 2026.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, receives federal entitlement funds from the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development for eligible community development and
housing activities; and
WHEREAS, the City, through its Community Development Department, has prepared
the FY27 Annual Action Plan in accordance with applicable federal requirements; and
WHEREAS, the FY27 Annual Action Plan identifies proposed uses of federal funds and
describes activities intended to address community development and housing needs within the
City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it appropriate to approve the submission of the FY27
Annual Action Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development on or about July
30, 2026.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The FY27 Annual Action Plan is hereby approved for submission to the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development on or about July 30, 2026.
2. The Community Development Director is authorized to submit the FY27 Annual
Action Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of July 2026.
