RESOLUTION NO. 2026-391
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
DEMOLITION AND SITE CLEARANCE SERVICES WITH
REGULATED ASBESTOS -CONTAINING MATERIALS,
CONTRACT NO. RD-2026-06-05P.
WHEREAS, plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimate of cost have been
prepared for the Demolition and Site Clearance Services with Regulated Asbestos -Containing
Materials, Contract No. RD-2026-06-05P; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, and related documents for said project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to confirm approval of the plans, specifications,
form of contract, and related documents, and authorize the project to proceed in accordance with
applicable bidding and contracting requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The plans, specifications, form of contract, estimate of cost, and related documents for
the Demolition and Site Clearance Services with Regulated Asbestos -Containing Materials,
Contract No. RD-2026-06-05P, are hereby confirmed and approved.
2. The Planning and Development Department are authorized to proceed with the project
in accordance with said plans, specifications, and form of contract.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of July 2026.
