RESOLUTION NO. 2026-398
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AUDIT ENGAGEMENT
LETTER WITH BERGANKDV FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
ENDING JUNE 30, 2026, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is required to have an annual audit of its
financial records and accounts in accordance with applicable law and accounting standards; and
WHEREAS, BerganKDV has submitted an Audit Engagement Letter for audit services
for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Audit Engagement Letter and finds it
appropriate to approve said letter and authorize its execution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The Audit Engagement Letter with BerganKDV for the fiscal year ending June 30,
2026, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
