RESOLUTION NO. 2026-399
RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH AECOM, INC., OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $196,500.00, FOR
DESIGN -RELATED SERVICES IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE RIVER WALL RESTORATION AND FLOODWALL TIE
OFF SAFETY CONDITIONS, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, desires to proceed with design -related services
for the River Wall Restoration and Floodwall Tie Off Safety Conditions project; and
WHEREAS, AECOM, Inc., of Waterloo, Iowa, has submitted a Professional Services
Agreement to provide said design -related services in an amount not to exceed $196,500.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the proposed Professional Services
Agreement and finds that the services are necessary and appropriate for the planning and design
of the River Wall Restoration and Floodwall Tie Off Safety Conditions project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to approve the Professional Services Agreement
and authorize execution of said document.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The Professional Services Agreement with AECOM, Inc., of Waterloo, Iowa, in an
amount not to exceed $196,500.00, for design -related services in conjunction with the River
Wall Restoration and Floodwall Tie Off Safety Conditions project is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said document on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
