1L 1031.2-Reliability Required exit accesses,exits and exit discharges shall be continuously maintained
free from obstructions or impediments to full instant use in the case of fire or other
emergency where the building area served by the means of egress is occupied.An
exit or exit passageway shall not be used for any purpose that interferes with a
means of egress.
Inspector:JEFF SIEBEL-Comments: No obstructions found on day of inspections, but
"Fire Door Do Not Block"sign is missing from exit door by Aisles Online area. Replace
missing sticker.
FAIL 315.3.1 -Ceiling clearance Storage shall be maintained 2 feet(610 mm)or more below the ceiling in
nonsprinklered areas of buildings or not less than 18 inches(457 mm)below
sprinkler head deflectors in sprinklered areas of buildings.

FAIL 5303.5.3-Securing Compressed gas containers,cylinders and tanks shall be secured to prevent falling
compressed gas containers, caused by contact,vibration or seismic activity.Securing of compressed gas
cylinders and containers,cylinders and tanks shall be by one of the following methods: 1.Securing
containers,cylinders and tanks to a fixed object with one or more restraints.2.
Securing containers,cylinders and tanks on a cart or other mobile device designed
for the movement of compressed gas containers,cylinders or tanks.3. Nesting of
compressed gas containers,cylinders and tanks at container filling or servicing
facilities or in sellers'warehouses not accessible to the public.Nesting shall be
allowed provided the nested containers,cylinders or tanks,if dislodged,do not
obstruct the required means of egress.4.Securing of compressed gas containers,
cylinders and tanks to or within a rack,framework,cabinet or similar assembly
designed for such use. Exception:Compressed gas containers,cylinders and tanks in
the process of examination,filling,transport or servicing.

FAIL 604.2.5-Exit signs Emergency power shall be provided for exit signs as required in Section 1013.6.3.The
system shall be capable of powering the required load for a duration of not less than
90 minutes.
Inspector:JEFF SIEBEL-Comments:repair/replace egress/exit light across from
clabby's office and in aisle 14,back of store.
FAIL 604.4.2-Records Records of the inspection,testing and maintenance of emergency and standby
power systems shall include the date of service,name of the servicing technician,a
summary of conditions noted and a detailed description of any conditions requiring
correction and what corrective action was taken.Such records shall be maintained.

emergency egress and exit lighting including egress lighting of generator.
FAIL 605.10.4-Prohibited areas Portable,electric space heaters shall not be operated within 3 feet(914 mm)of any
combustible materials. Portable,electric space heaters shall be operated only in
locations for which they are listed.
Inspector:JEFF SIEBEL-Comments: remove electric heater from pharmacy or submit
documentation of proper use in commercial property and clearances(carpet)
FAIL 605.3-Working space and A working space of not less than 30 inches(762 mm)in width,36 inches(914 mm)in
clearance depth and 78 inches(1981 mm)in height shall be provided in front of electrical
service equipment.Where the electrical service equipment is wider than 30 inches
(762 mm),the working space shall be not less than the width of the equipment.
Storage of materials shall not be located within the designated working space.
Exceptions: 1.Where other dimensions are required or allowed by NFPA 70.2.Access
openings into attics or under-floor areas which provide a minimum clear opening of
22 inches(559 mm)by 30 inches(762 mm).

minimum of 36"clearance at all times:A.closet across from Brooke. B.Across from
Dept Head Office.
FAIL 609.3.3.1 -Inspection Hoods,grease-removal devices,fans,ducts and other appurtenances shall be
inspected at intervals specified in Table or as approved by the fire code official.
Inspections shall be completed by qualified individuals.

Records for cleanings shall state the individual and company performing the cleaning
and when the cleaning took place.Such records shall be completed after each
inspection or cleaning and maintained.

FAIL 903.3.3-Obstructed locations Automatic sprinklers shall be installed with due regard to obstructions that will delay
activation or obstruct the water distribution pattern.Automatic sprinklers shall be
installed in or under covered kiosks,displays, booths,concession stands or
equipment that exceeds 4 feet(1219 mm)in width. Not less than a 3-foot(914 mm)
clearance shall be maintained between automatic sprinklers and the top of piles of
combustible fibers. Exception: Kitchen equipment under exhaust hoods protected
with a fire-extinguishing system in accordance with Section 904.
Inspector:JEFF SIEBEL-Comments: Remove dust,debris from fire sprinkler head in
old pop can area.
FAIL 904.12.6.3-Fusible link and Fusible links and automatic sprinkler heads shall be replaced at least annually,and
sprinkler head replacement other protection devices shall be serviced or replaced in accordance with the
manufacturer's instructions. Exception: Frangible bulbs are not required to be
replaced annually.
Inspector:JEFF SIEBEL-Comments:properly align equipment with fire suppression
heads and maintain equipment a minimum of 6"under hood.
FAIL 906.1 -Where required Portable fire extinguishers shall be installed in all of the following locations: 1.In new
and existing Group A, B,E, F,H,I, M, R-1,R-2, R-4 and S occupancies.Exception:In
Group R-2 occupancies,portable fire extinguishers shall be required only in locations
specified in Items 2 through 6 where each dwelling unit is provided with a portable
fire extinguisher having a minimum rating of 1-A:10-B:C.2.Within 30 feet(9144 mm)
of commercial cooking equipment.3. In areas where flammable or combustible
liquids are stored,used or dispensed.4.On each floor of structures under
construction,except Group R-3 occupancies,in accordance with Section 3315.1. 5.
Where required by the sections indicated in Table 906.1.6.Special-hazard areas,
including but not limited to laboratories,computer rooms and generator rooms,
where required by the fire code official.
Inspector:JEFF SIEBEL-Comments: Install 2A-10BC 4'to 5'above the floor in pod
building in parking lot.
FAIL 906.6-Unobstructed and Portable fire extinguishers shall not be obstructed or obscured from view.In rooms
unobscured or areas in which visual obstruction cannot be completely avoided, means shall be
provided to indicate the locations of extinguishers.
