STATUS CODE DESCRIPTION
FAIL 1010.1.3-Door opening force The force for pushing or pulling open interior swinging egress doors,other than fire
doors,shall not exceed 5 pounds(22 N).These forces do not apply to the force
required to retract latch bolts or disengage other devices that hold the door in a
closed position. For other swinging doors,as well as sliding and folding doors,the
door latch shall release when subjected to a 15-pound(67 N)force.The door shall be
set in motion when subjected to a 30-pound(133 N)force.The door shall swing to a
full-open position when subjected to a 15-pound(67 N)force.
Inspector:JEFF SIEBEL-Comments:repair exit door#17, Must open with less than 15#
force.
FAIL 1031.3-Obstructions A means of egress shall be free from obstructions that would prevent its use,
including the accumulation of snow and ice.

FAIL 315.3.1 -Ceiling clearance Storage shall be maintained 2 feet(610 mm)or more below the ceiling in
nonsprinklered areas of buildings or not less than 18 inches(457 mm)below
sprinkler head deflectors in sprinklered areas of buildings.
Inspector:JEFF SIEBEL-Comments:reduce storage at area 502 to a minimum of 18"
below fire sprinkler head deflector.Maintain all storage below allowable height as
labeled on fire sprinkler risers.
FAIL 315.3.2-Means of egress Combustible materials shall not be stored in exits or enclosures for stairways and
ramps.

materials from next to stair egress path from mezzanine.
FAIL 5.2.1 -Annual sprinkler Sprinklers shall be inspected at least annually by licensed contractor
system inspection

including fire pump with all discrepancies corrected. Report must be uploaded online

mains and water tanks maintained in accordance with NFPA 25 at the following intervals: 1.Private fire
hydrants of all typelnspection annually and after each operation;flow test and
maintenance annually.2. Fire service main piping:Inspection of exposed,annually;
flow test every 5 years.3. Fire service main piping strainerinspection and
maintenance after each use.Records of inspections,testing and maintenance shall be
maintained.

report with all discrepancies corrected.contractor must upload online to the

FAIL 604.4.2-Records Records of the inspection,testing and maintenance of emergency and standby
power systems shall include the date of service, name of the servicing technician,a
summary of conditions noted and a detailed description of any conditions requiring
correction and what corrective action was taken.Such records shall be maintained.

emergency egress and exit lights with all discrepancies corrected.
FAIL 604.6-Emergency lighting Emergency lighting shall be inspected and tested in accordance with Sections 604.6.1
equipment through 604.6.2.1.
Inspector:JEFF SIEBEL-Comments:Provide current annual emergency generator
load bank testing and engine service report with all discrepancies corrected.
FAIL 903.3.3-Obstructed locations Automatic sprinklers shall be installed with due regard to obstructions that will delay
activation or obstruct the water distribution pattern.Automatic sprinklers shall be
installed in or under covered kiosks,displays,booths,concession stands or
equipment that exceeds 4 feet(1219 mm)in width. Not less than a 3-foot(914 mm)
clearance shall be maintained between automatic sprinklers and the top of piles of
combustible fibers. Exception: Kitchen equipment under exhaust hoods protected
with a fire-extinguishing system in accordance with Section 904.
Inspector:JEFF SIEBEL-Comments:Review fire sprinkler coverage under shed
displays. Provide corrections.
FAIL 906.6-Unobstructed and Portable fire extinguishers shall not be obstructed or obscured from view.In rooms
unobscured or areas in which visual obstruction cannot be completely avoided, means shall be
provided to indicate the locations of extinguishers.

column.maintain a minimum of 36"clearance.
