FAIL 1004.3-Posting of occupant Every room or space that is an assembly occupancy shall have the occupant load of

permanent design and shall be maintained by the owner or the owner's authorized

Inspector: BROCK WELIVER-Comments:Occupant Load was missing during the
inspection. ****This item has since been corrected.The Occupant Load was
calculated,updated and proper signage was given to the tenant.This sign needs to
be displayed as outlined above
FAIL 1010.1.3-Door opening force The force for pushing or pulling open interior swinging egress doors,other than fire
doors,shall not exceed 5 pounds(22 N).These forces do not apply to the force
required to retract latch bolts or disengage other devices that hold the door in a
closed position. For other swinging doors,as well as sliding and folding doors,the
door latch shall release when subjected to a 15-pound(67 N)force.The door shall be
set in motion when subjected to a 30-pound(133 N)force.The door shall swing to a
full-open position when subjected to a 15-pound(67 N)force.

FAIL 1031.6-Finishes,furnishings Means of egress doors shall be maintained in such a manner as to be distinguishable
and decorations from the adjacent construction and finishes such that the doors are easily
recognizable as doors. Furnishings,decorations or other objects shall not be placed
so as to obstruct exits,access thereto,egress therefrom,or visibility thereof.
Hangings and draperies shall not be placed over exit doors or otherwise be located
to conceal or obstruct an exit. Mirrors shall not be placed on exit doors. Mirrors shall
not be placed in or adjacent to any exit in such a manner as to confuse the direction
of exit.

manner that could passively or actively disable,injure, maim or kill a fire fighter who
forcibly enters a building for the purpose of controlling or extinguishing a fire,
rescuing trapped occupants or rendering other emergency assistance.

tenant space in the basement
FAIL 505.1 -Address identification New and existing buildings shall be provided with approved address identification.
The address identification shall be legible and placed in a position that is visible from
the street or road fronting the property.Address identification characters shall
contrast with their background.Address numbers shall be Arabic numbers or
alphabetical letters. Numbers shall not be spelled out. Each character shall be not
less than 4 inches(102 mm)high with a minimum stroke width of 1/2(12.7 mm).
Where required by the fire code official,address identification shall be provided in
additional approved locations to facilitate emergency response.Where access is by
means of a private road and the building cannot be viewed from the public way,a
monument,pole or other sign or means shall be used to identify the structure.
Address identification shall be maintained.

Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be affixed to structures,extended

be used only with portable appliances.

through the ceiling in multiple places: 1)back room near exit door-improper wiring

L 703.1 -Maintenance The required fire-resistance rating of fire-resistance-rated construction,including,
but not limited to,walls,firestops,shaft enclosures,partitions,smoke barriers,
floors,fire-resistive coatings and sprayed fire-resistant materials applied to
structural members and fire-resistant joint systems,shall be maintained.Such
elements shall be visually inspected by the owner annually and properly repaired,
restored or replaced where damaged,altered, breached or penetrated. Records of
inspections and repairs shall be maintained.Where concealed,such elements shall
not be required to be visually inspected by the owner unless the concealed space is
accessible by the removal or movement of a panel,access door,ceiling tile or similar
movable entry to the space.Openings made therein for the passage of pipes,
electrical conduit,wires,ducts,air transfer openings and holes made for any reason
shall be protected with approved methods capable of resisting the passage of smoke
and fire.Openings through fire-resistance-rated assemblies shall be protected by
self-or automatic-closing doors of approved construction meeting the fire protection
requirements for the assembly.

FAIL 906.2-General requirements Portable fire extinguishers shall be selected,installed and maintained in accordance
with this section and NFPA 10.Exceptions:1.The distance of travel to reach an
extinguisher shall not apply to the spectator seating portions of Group A-5
occupancies.2.Thirty-day inspections shall not be required and maintenance shall
be allowed to be once every 3 years for dry-chemical or halogenated agent portable
fire extinguishers that are supervised by a listed and approved electronic monitoring
device,provided that all of the following conditions are met:2.1.Electronic
monitoring shall confirm that extinguishers are properly positioned,properly
charged and unobstructed.2.2. Loss of power or circuit continuity to the electronic
monitoring device shall initiate a trouble signal.2.3.The extinguishers shall be
installed inside of a building or cabinet in a noncorrosive environment.2.4. Electronic
monitoring devices and supervisory circuits shall be tested every 3 years when
extinguisher maintenance is performed.2.5.A written log of required hydrostatic
test dates for extinguishers shall be maintained by the owner to verify that
hydrostatic tests are conducted at the frequency required by NFPA 10.3.In Group 1-3,
portable fire extinguishers shall be permitted to be located at staff locations.

BROCK WELIVER-01/08/2021 @ 17:30 Do Not Occupy was posted on this address at 1500 hours on 1-8-2021 for the following
reasons: 1)bolt locks on the back door&2)lack of fire extinguisher.As of 1630 hours
on 1-8-2021 both of these items had been corrected and verified by Lt. Brock Weliver of
WFR and the Do Not Occupy was removed.
