STATUS CODE DESCRIPTION
FAIL 1010.1.3-Door opening force The force for pushing or pulling open interior swinging egress doors,other than fire
doors,shall not exceed 5 pounds(22 N).These forces do not apply to the force
required to retract latch bolts or disengage other devices that hold the door in a
closed position. For other swinging doors,as well as sliding and folding doors,the
door latch shall release when subjected to a 15-pound(67 N)force.The door shall be
set in motion when subjected to a 30-pound(133 N)force.The door shall swing to a
full-open position when subjected to a 15-pound(67 N)force.
Inspector:JEFF SIEBEL-Comments:repair outside garden center NE exit gate. Must
open with less than 15#force.
FAIL 1011.12.2-Roof access Where a stairway is provided to a roof,access to the roof shall be provided through a
penthouse complying with Section 1510.2 of the International Building Code.
Exception:In buildings without an occupied roof,access to the roof shall be
permitted to be a roof hatch or trap door not less than 16 square feet(1.5 mA2)in
area and having a minimum dimension of 2 feet(610 mm).

FAIL 5.2.1.1.E-Missing
Escutcheons and coverplates for recessed,flush,and concealed sprinklers shall be
escutcheons replaced if found missing during the inspection.

and repair ceiling obstructing the fire sprinkler head
FAIL 604.4.2-Records Records of the inspection,testing and maintenance of emergency and standby
power systems shall include the date of service,name of the servicing technician,a
summary of conditions noted and a detailed description of any conditions requiring
correction and what corrective action was taken.Such records shall be maintained.

emergency egress and exit lights with all deficiencies corrected.

FAIL 604.6-Emergency lighting Emergency lighting shall be inspected and tested in accordance with Sections 604.6.1
equipment through 604.6.2.1.
Inspector:JEFF SIEBEL-Comments:Provide annual emergency generator load bank
test and engine service.
FAIL 605.3-Working space and A working space of not less than 30 inches(762 mm)in width,36 inches(914 mm)in
clearance depth and 78 inches(1981 mm)in height shall be provided in front of electrical
service equipment.Where the electrical service equipment is wider than 30 inches
(762 mm),the working space shall be not less than the width of the equipment.
Storage of materials shall not be located within the designated working space.
Exceptions: 1.Where other dimensions are required or allowed by NFPA 70.2.Access
openings into attics or under-floor areas which provide a minimum clear opening of
22 inches(559 mm)by 30 inches(762 mm).
Inspector:JEFF SIEBEL-Comments:remove obstructions to electric panel in
computer room.maintain a minimum of 36"clearance.
FAIL 703.1 -Maintenance The required fire-resistance rating of fire-resistance-rated construction,including,
but not limited to,walls,firestops,shaft enclosures,partitions,smoke barriers,
floors,fire-resistive coatings and sprayed fire-resistant materials applied to
structural members and fire-resistant joint systems,shall be maintained.Such
elements shall be visually inspected by the owner annually and properly repaired,
restored or replaced where damaged,altered,breached or penetrated. Records of
inspections and repairs shall be maintained.Where concealed,such elements shall
not be required to be visually inspected by the owner unless the concealed space is
accessible by the removal or movement of a panel,access door,ceiling tile or similar
movable entry to the space.Openings made therein for the passage of pipes,
electrical conduit,wires,ducts,air transfer openings and holes made for any reason
shall be protected with approved methods capable of resisting the passage of smoke
and fire.Openings through fire-resistance-rated assemblies shall be protected by
self-or automatic-closing doors of approved construction meeting the fire protection
requirements for the assembly.
Inspector:JEFF SIEBEL-Comments:replace missing ceiling tile in computer room.
FAIL 906.6-Unobstructed and Portable fire extinguishers shall not be obstructed or obscured from view. In rooms
unobscured or areas in which visual obstruction cannot be completely avoided, means shall be
provided to indicate the locations of extinguishers.
Inspector:JEFF SIEBEL-Comments: remove obstructions to fire extinguisher by
potting soil. Maintain a minimum of 36"to and around fire extinguisher.
