STATUS CODE DESCRIPTION
FAIL 1031.2-Reliability Required exit accesses,exits and exit discharges shall be continuously maintained
free from obstructions or impediments to full instant use in the case of fire or other
emergency where the building area served by the means of egress is occupied.An
exit or exit passageway shall not be used for any purpose that interferes with a
means of egress.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON-Comments:
FAIL 604.2.12-Means of egress Emergency power shall be provided for means of egress illumination in accordance
illumination with Sections 1008.3 and 1104.5.1.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON-Comments: Egress light on West wall towards back of
store still not working. Egress light in front of store by carts still not working.
FAIL 605.10.4-Prohibited areas Portable,electric space heaters shall not be operated within 3 feet(914 mm)of any
combustible materials. Portable, electric space heaters shall be operated only in
locations for which they are listed.
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON-Comments: Electric heater in office.
FAIL 605.3-Working space and A working space of not less than 30 inches(762 mm)in width,36 inches(914 mm)in
clearance depth and 78 inches(1981 mm)in height shall be provided in front of electrical
service equipment.Where the electrical service equipment is wider than 30 inches
(762 mm),the working space shall be not less than the width of the equipment.
Storage of materials shall not be located within the designated working space.
Exceptions: 1.Where other dimensions are required or allowed by NFPA 70.2.Access
openings into attics or under-floor areas which provide a minimum clear opening of
22 inches(559 mm)by 30 inches(762 mm).
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON -Comments: Maintain 36" inch path to electric panel. Do
not store product or carts in this area.
FAIL 906.6-Unobstructed and Portable fire extinguishers shall not be obstructed or obscured from view. In rooms
unobscured or areas in which visual obstruction cannot be completely avoided, means shall be
provided to indicate the locations of extinguishers.
