For other swinging doors,as well as sliding and folding doors,the door latch shall release when subjected to a 15-pound(67 N)force.The door shall be set in motion when subjected to a 30-pound(133 N)force.The door shall swing to a full-open position when subjected to a 15-pound(67 N)force. Inspector:JEFF SIEBEL-Comments:provide opportunity for fire inspector to test doors. FAIL 604.2.5-Exit signs Emergency power shall be provided for exit signs as required in Section 1013.6.3.The system shall be capable of powering the required load for a duration of not less than 90 minutes. Printed on 05/10/2021 @ 11:59 Page 1 of 3 STATUS CODE DESCRIPTION FAIL 703.1 -Maintenance The required fire-resistance rating of fire-resistance-rated construction, including, but not limited to,walls,firestops,shaft enclosures,partitions,smoke barriers, floors,fire-resistive coatings and sprayed fire-resistant materials applied to structural members and fire-resistant joint systems,shall be maintained.Such elements shall be visually inspected by the owner annually and properly repaired, restored or replaced where damaged,altered, breached or penetrated. Records of inspections and repairs shall be maintained.Where concealed,such elements shall not be required to be visually inspected by the owner unless the concealed space is accessible by the removal or movement of a panel,access door,ceiling tile or similar movable entry to the space.Openings made therein for the passage of pipes, electrical conduit,wires,ducts,air transfer openings and holes made for any reason shall be protected with approved methods capable of resisting the passage of smoke and fire.Openings through fire-resistance-rated assemblies shall be protected by self-or automatic-closing doors of approved construction meeting the fire protection requirements for the assembly. FAIL 904.12.6.2-Extinguishing Automatic fire-extinguishing systems shall be serviced at least every six months and system service after activation of the system. Inspection shall be by qualified individuals,and a certificate of inspection shall be forwarded to the fire code official upon completion. Report is overdue and expiree report lists discrepancies that must be corrected. FAIL 906.7-Hangers and brackets Hand-held portable fire extinguishers, not housed in cabinets,shall be installed on the hangers or brackets supplied. Hangers or brackets shall be securely anchored to the mounting surface in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions.
