Identified hazardous electrical conditions electrical hazards in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the responsible code official. Electrical wiring,devices,appliances and other equipment that is modified or damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used. Inspector:BARRY STRATTON-Comments:All light fixtures need globes.Light in dining room needs removed and new light installed. Kitchen lights needs a cover and checked why is does not come on all the time.Outlets in kids bedroom is burnt and needs changed out. FAIL 906.1 -Where required Portable fire extinguishers shall be installed in all of the following locations: 1.In new and existing Group A,B,E, F, H,I, M,R-1, R-2,R-4 and S occupancies. Exception:In Group R-2 occupancies, portable fire extinguishers shall be required only in locations specified in Items 2 through 6 where each dwelling unit is provided with a portable fire extinguisher having a minimum rating of 1-A:10-B:C.2.Within 30 feet(9144 mm) of commercial cooking equipment.3. In areas where flammable or combustible liquids are stored,used or dispensed.4.On each floor of structures under construction,except Group R-3 occupancies,in accordance with Section 3315.1.5. Where required by the sections indicated in Table 906.1.6.Special-hazard areas, including but not limited to laboratories,computer rooms and generator rooms, where required by the fire code official. Inspector: BARRY STRATTON-Comments: FAIL 907.2.11 -Single-and Listed single-and multiple-station smoke alarms complying with UL 217 shall be multiple-station smoke installed in accordance with Sections 907.2.11.1 through 907.2.11.6 and NFPA 72. alarms Inspector:BARRY STRATTON-Comments:Smoke detectors are needed in each bedroom and outside of the bedrooms.Smoke detector also needed to be in basement. FAIL 915.1 -General Carbon monoxide detection shall be installed in new buildings in accordance with Sections 915.1.1 through 915.6.Carbon monoxide detection shall be installed in existing buildings in accordance with Section 1103.9. FAIL R3-Unfit for Human Is the structure found to be fit for human occupancy according to the code?(IPMC Occupancy 108.1.3) Inspector:BARRY STRATTON-Comments:Mold and stairs to upstairs. FAIL R5- Exterior Structure Is the exterior of the structure maintained in good repair,structurally sound and sanitary state?(IPMC 304) Inspector:BARRY STRATTON-Comments:Floor on front porch.Stairs and decking on rear porch. Handrails and guards need to installed on stairs for porches. FAIL R6-Interior Structure Has the interior of the structure and equipment inside been maintained in good repair,structurally sound,and in a sanitary condition?(IPMC 305) Inspector: BARRY STRATTON-Comments:Kitchen ceiling needs repaired/water damage. Both Bedroom ceilings need removed and replaced/water damage. Bathroom ceiling needs removed and replaced.Mold present because of water damage.Floors need transition strips.Stairs need repaired. Need new balusters and stair treads installed.Stairs are unsafe. Broken windows need replaced. Need all doors to have proper door hardware on them. Holes in living room floor need corrected. Kitchen cabinets need all drawer fronts and drawers in place. Living room ceiling needs repaired. Bathroom door is coming off hinges. Door jamb is damaged and hinges will not screw to jamb. Install new jamb and door. Roof drainage shall be adequate to prevent dampness or deterioration in the walls or interior portion of the structure. Roof drains,gutters and downspouts shall be maintained in good repair and free from obstructions. Roof water shall not be discharged in a manner that creates a public nuisance.Gutters leaking onto porch. For the purpose of this code,any structure or premises that has any or all of the conditions or defects described below shall be considered dangerous: 1.Any door,aisle,passageway,stairway,exit or other means of egress that does not conform to the approved building or fire code of the jurisdiction as related to the requirements for existing buildings.2.The walking surface of any aisle, passageway,stairway,exit or other means of egress is so warped,worn loose, torn or otherwise unsafe as to not provide safe and adequate means of egress.
