FAIL 605.1 -Abatement of Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. Identified hazardous electrical conditions
electrical hazards in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the responsible code official.
Electrical wiring,devices,appliances and other equipment that is modified or
damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used.
Inspector:BARRY STRATTON-Comments:Electrical system. Furnace installed without
permits and inspections.
FAIL 906.1 -Where required Portable fire extinguishers shall be installed in all of the following locations: 1.In new
and existing Group A, B, E, F, H,I,M,R-1, R-2,R-4 and S occupancies. Exception: In
Group R-2 occupancies,portable fire extinguishers shall be required only in locations
specified in Items 2 through 6 where each dwelling unit is provided with a portable
fire extinguisher having a minimum rating of 1-A:10-B:C.2.Within 30 feet(9144 mm)
of commercial cooking equipment.3. In areas where flammable or combustible
liquids are stored,used or dispensed.4.On each floor of structures under
construction,except Group R-3 occupancies,in accordance with Section 3315.1.5.
Where required by the sections indicated in Table 906.1.6.Special-hazard areas,
including but not limited to laboratories,computer rooms and generator rooms,
where required by the fire code official.

BARRY STRATTON-02/09/2022 @ 13:26 504.1 General.Plumbing fixtures shall be properly installed and maintained in working
order,and shall be kept free from obstructions,leaks and defects and be capable of
performing the function for which such plumbing fixtures are designed. Plumbing
fixtures shall be maintained in a safe,sanitary and functional condition.
BARRY STRATTON-02/09/2022 @ 13:26 504.3 Plumbing system hazards.Where it is found that a plumbing system in a
structure constitutes a hazard to the occupants or the structure by reason of
inadequate service, inadequate venting, cross connection, backsiphonage, improper
installation,deterioration or damage or for similar reasons,the code official shall
require the defects to be corrected to eliminate the hazard.

maintained and capable of providing an adequate amount of water to be drawn at
every required sink, lavatory,bathtub,shower and laundry facility at a minimum
temperature of 110°F(43°C).A gas-burning water heater shall not be located in any
bathroom,toilet room,bedroom or other occupied room normally kept closed,unless
adequate combustion air is provided.An approved combination temperature and
pressure-relief valve and relief valve discharge pipe shall be properly installed and
maintained on water heaters.

system or to an approved private sewage disposal system.

appliances,cooking appliances and water heating appliances shall be properly
installed and maintained in a safe working condition,and shall be capable of
performing the intended function. Furnace not installed to meet code. No
permits/Inspections.

furnace,water heating,security system and power distribution circuits,that have been
exposed to fire,shall be replaced in accordance with the provisions of the International
Building Code.

installed and maintained in a safe and approved manner.
BARRY STRATTON-02/09/2022 @ 13:27 IPMC 106.4:Violation penalties.Any person who shall violate a provision of this code,
or fail to comply therewith,or with any of the requirements thereof,shall be
prosecuted within the limits provided by state or local laws. Each day that a violation
continues after due notice has been served shall be deemed a separate offense.

any person to construct or install any fuel burning, space heating,air conditioning or
incinerator equipment or appurtenances subject to and covered by the provisions of
this chapter in or for any building or to alter,repair or convert any such existing fuel
burning,space heating,air conditioning or incinerator equipment or appurtenances as
are subject to the provisions of this chapter without first making written application for
a permit therefor setting forth the nature and extent of the work to be performed.
