FAIL 1008.1 -Means of egress Illumination shall be provided in the means of egress in accordance with Section
illumination 1008.2. Under emergency power, means of egress illumination shall comply with
Section 1008.3.
Inspector:BARRY STRATTON-Comments:Egress/exit sign at front entrance the
egress light was not working.Still not working at time of today's inspection.
FAIL 605.1 -Abatement of Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. Identified hazardous electrical conditions
electrical hazards in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the responsible code official.
Electrical wiring,devices,appliances and other equipment that is modified or
damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used.
Inspector:BARRY STRATTON-Comments:Breakers trip out in breaker panel.Breaker
tripped out in panel at time of inspection.
FAIL 907.2.11 -Single-and Listed single-and multiple-station smoke alarms complying with UL 217 shall be
multiple-station smoke installed in accordance with Sections 907.2.11.1 through 907.2.11.6 and NFPA 72.

rear of apartment was screwed shut.

Inspector:BARRY STRATTON-Comments:602.2 Residential occupancies. Dwellings
shall be provided with heating facilities capable of maintaining a room temperature
of 68°F(20°C)in all habitable rooms,bathrooms and toilet rooms based on the
winter outdoor design temperature for the locality indicated in Appendix D of the
International Plumbing Code.Cooking appliances shall not be used,nor shall
portable unvented fuel-burning space heaters be used,as a means to provide
required heating.
FAIL R6.C.-Mechanical Eqiupment Are mechanical appliances properly installed and maintained in good working
condition?(IPMC 603.1)
Inspector: BARRY STRATTON-Comments:505.4 Water heating facilities.Water
heating facilities shall be properly installed,maintained and capable of providing an
adequate amount of water to be drawn at every required sink,lavatory,bathtub,
shower and laundry facility at a minimum temperature of 110°F(43°C).A gas-burning
water heater shall not be located in any bathroom,toilet room,bedroom or other
occupied room normally kept closed,unless adequate combustion air is provided.An
approved combination temperature and pressure-relief valve and relief valve
discharge pipe shall be properly installed and maintained on water heaters. No hot
water in unit#3 for the month of December. Need to Correct ASAP.24 HR

BARRY STRATTON-01/27/2022 @ 13:27 106.4 Violation penalties.Any person who shall violate a provision of this code,or fail
to comply therewith,or with any of the requirements thereof,shall be prosecuted
within the limits provided by state or local laws. Each day that a violation continues
after due notice has been served shall be deemed a separate offense.If new water
heater was installed it did not have permits and inspections.

GENERAL NOTES
BARRY STRATTON-01/27/2022 @ 13:29 304.12 Handrails and guards. Every handrail and guard shall be firmly fastened and
capable of supporting normally imposed loads and shall be maintained in good
condition.These items are still needed for rear entrance.
