FAIL 1013.3-Illumination Exit signs shall be internally or externally illuminated. Exception:Tactile signs required
by Section 1013.4 need not be provided with illumination.
Inspector:BARRY STRATTON-Comments:Egress/exit lights still not working
FAIL 1025.5-Illumination Where photoluminescent exit path markings are installed,they shall be provided with
not less than 1 footcandle(11 lux)of illumination for not less than 60 minutes prior to
periods when the building is occupied and continuously during the building
occupancy.
Inspector:BARRY STRATTON-Comments:Lights still not working in hallways.Several
lights plugged into extension cords running under doors form apartments and some
wired into baseboard heaters.
FAIL 1031.2-Reliability Required exit accesses,exits and exit discharges shall be continuously maintained
free from obstructions or impediments to full instant use in the case of fire or other
emergency where the building area served by the means of egress is occupied.An
exit or exit passageway shall not be used for any purpose that interferes with a
means of egress.

FAIL 605.1 -Abatement of Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. Identified hazardous electrical conditions
electrical hazards in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the responsible code official.
Electrical wiring,devices,appliances and other equipment that is modified or
damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used.
Inspector:BARRY STRATTON-Comments:Globes are needed on all lights. Lights need
to be in working condition.Outlets in unit 2 need repaired since upper portion does
not work. Extension cords wired into baseboard heaters need removed.Shop lights
from#2 hanging in entry way. Extension cord from unit#4 to#3.

FAIL 703.2-Opening protectives Opening protectives shall be maintained in an operative condition in accordance with
NFPA 80.Where allowed by the fire code official,the application of field-applied labels
associated with the maintenance of opening protectives shall follow the
requirements of the approved third-party certification organization accredited for
listing the opening protective. Fire doors and smoke barrier doors shall not be
blocked or obstructed,or otherwise made inoperable. Fusible links shall be replaced
promptly whenever fused or damaged.Fire door assemblies shall not be modified.

held in open position.
FAIL 901.6-Inspection,testing and Fire detection,alarm,and extinguishing systems,mechanical smoke exhaust
maintenance systems,and smoke and heat vents shall be maintained in an operative condition at
all times,and shall be replaced or repaired where defective. Nonrequired fire
protection systems and equipment shall be inspected,tested and maintained or
removed.

FAIL 901.6.1 -Standards Fire protection systems shall be inspected,tested and maintained in accordance with
the referenced standards listed in Table

FAIL 906.1 -Where required Portable fire extinguishers shall be installed in all of the following locations: 1.In new
and existing Group A,B,E, F, H, I, M,R-1,R-2, R-4 and S occupancies. Exception: In
Group R-2 occupancies, portable fire extinguishers shall be required only in locations
specified in Items 2 through 6 where each dwelling unit is provided with a portable
fire extinguisher having a minimum rating of 1-A:10-B:C.2.Within 30 feet(9144 mm)
of commercial cooking equipment.3.In areas where flammable or combustible
liquids are stored, used or dispensed.4.On each floor of structures under
construction,except Group R-3 occupancies, in accordance with Section 3315.1.5.
Where required by the sections indicated in Table 906.1.6.Special-hazard areas,
including but not limited to laboratories,computer rooms and generator rooms,
where required by the fire code official.

FAR. 907.2.11 -Single-and Listed single-and multiple-station smoke alarms complying with UL 217 shall be
multiple-station smoke installed in accordance with Sections 907.2.11.1 through 907.2.11.6 and NFPA 72.
