RESOLUTION NO. 2026-433
RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH VANDEWALLE & ASSOCIATES, INC., IN THE
AMOUNT OF $72,000.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
DOWNTOWN MASTER PLAN IMPLEMENTATION, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, desires to obtain professional planning services
in connection with implementation of the Downtown Master Plan; and
WHEREAS, Vandewalle & Associates, Inc., has submitted a Professional Services
Agreement to provide such services in the amount $72,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that approval of the Professional Services Agreement
is in the best interests of the City of Waterloo.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. That the Professional Services Agreement between the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
Vandewalle & Associates, Inc., for services in connection with Downtown Master Plan
Implementation, in an amount not to exceed $72,000.00, is hereby approved.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents
on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of August 2026.
