RESOLUTION NO. 2026-440
RESOLUTION APPROVING ROOF CONSTRUCTION/REPAIRS
PROPOSAL WITH BLACK HAWK ROOF COMPANY, INC., IN THE
AMOUNT OF $99,000.00 FOR REMOVAL/REPLACEMENT WITH
EPDM ROOF AT SOUTH HILLS PRO SHOP TO INCLUDE NEW
GUTTER AND DOWNSPOUTS AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has determined that roof construction and
repairs are needed at the South Hills Pro Shop; and
WHEREAS, Black Hawk Roof Company, Inc., has submitted a proposal for removal and
replacement of the existing EPDM roof at the South Hills Pro Shop, including installation of new
gutters and downspouts, in the amount of $99,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that approval of the proposal is in the best interests of
the City of Waterloo.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. That the roof construction/repairs proposal with Black Hawk Roof Company, Inc., for
removal and replacement of the EPDM roof at the South Hills Pro Shop, including new gutters
and downspouts, in the amount of Ninety -Nine Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($99,000.00), is
hereby approved.
2. That the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa.
