RESOLUTION NO. 2026-404
RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING
AS AUGUST 17, 2026, TO AUTHORIZE THE SALE AND
CONVEYANCE OF APPROXIMATELY 966 SQUARE -FEET
OF CITY -OWNED PROPERTY, LOCATED NORTH AND
SOUTH OF 1130 ANSBOROUGH AVENUE, TO PEBBLE
HILL, LLC, A DELAWARE LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY,
IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,728.80, SUBJECT TO THE
RETENTION OF AN EASEMENT OVER, UNDER, UPON,
AND ACROSS THE DESCRIBED TRACTS, AND INSTRUCT
THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, owns certain real property consisting of
approximately 966 square feet, located north and south of 1130 Ansborough Avenue; and
WHEREAS, Pebble Hill, LLC, has offered to purchase the Property in the amount of
$7,728.80; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed sale and conveyance of the
Property in the best interests of the City of Waterloo; and
WHEREAS, before proceeding with said sale and conveyance, it is necessary to set a
date for public hearing and direct the City Clerk to publish notice as required by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. A public hearing be set for August 17, 2026, to receive public comments on the
proposed sale and conveyance of approximately 966 square feet of City -owned property located
north and south of 1130 Ansborough Avenue to Pebble Hill, LLC, in the amount of $7,728.80,
subject to the City's retention of an easement over, under, upon, and across the described tracts.
2. The City Clerk is directed to publish notice of said public hearing as required by law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of August 2026.
