RESOLUTION NO. 2026-406
RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING
AS AUGUST 17, 2026, TO AUTHORIZE THE SALE AND
CONVEYANCE OF CITY -OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED
SOUTH OF 3915 VALDEZ DRIVE TO RAYMOND I. HARRIS
AND CLOZELLE R. HARRIS IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,576.00
AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH PUBLIC
NOTICE.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, is the owner of certain real property generally known
as 3915 Valdez Drive; and
WHEREAS, the City proposes selling and conveying the Property to Raymond I. Harris
and Clozelle R. Harris in the amount of $1,576.00; and
WHEREAS, before proceeding with said sale and conveyance, it is necessary to set a
date for public hearing and direct the City Clerk to publish notice as required by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. A public hearing be set for August 17, 2026, to receive public comments on the
proposed sale and conveyance of 3915 Valdez Drive, in the amount of $1,576.00 to Raymond I.
Harris and Clozelle R. Harris.
2. The City Clerk is directed to publish notice of said public hearing as required by law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of August 2026.
