RESOLUTION NO. 2026-425
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN CONJUNCTION WITH ASBESTOS
ABATEMENT SERVICES, CONTRACT AB-2026-07-01P (70
SYCAMORE STREET).
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has determined that the
Asbestos Abatement Services, Contract AB-2026-07-01P (70 Sycamore Street), is necessary and
in the public interest; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, and related documents for said project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to confirm approval of the plans, specifications,
form of contract, and related documents, and authorize the project to proceed in accordance with
applicable bidding and contracting requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. That the plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimate of cost for the Asbestos
Abatement Services, Contract AB-2026-07-01P (70 Sycamore Street), are hereby confirmed and
approved.
2. The Community Planning and Development Department are authorized to proceed
with the project in accordance with said plans, specifications, and form of contract.
