RESOLUTION NO. 2026-428
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF
CITY -OWNED PROPERTY AT 1050 EVERGREEN AVENUE, 520-522
ARCHER AVENUE, AND 1228 COLUMBIA STREET IN THE
AMOUNT OF $45,000.000 TO ROCK STAR REAL ESTATE, LLC,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, owns real property located at 1050 Evergreen
Avenue, 520-522 Archer Avenue, and 1228 Columbia Street; and
WHEREAS, Rock Star Real Estate, LLC, has offered to purchase said properties for
$45,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the sale and conveyance of said properties is in
the best interests of the City of Waterloo.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. That the sale and conveyance of the City -owned properties located at 1050 Evergreen
Avenue, 520-522 Archer Avenue, and 1228 Columbia Street to Rock Star Real Estate, LLC, for
the purchase price of $45,000.00, is hereby authorized and approved.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents
on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of August 2026.
