RESOLUTION NO. 2026-470
RESOLUTION APPROVING SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 3,
TO A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH STANLEY
CONSULTANTS, INC., OF DES MOINES, IOWA, ORIGINALLY
EXECUTED MARCH 11, 2019, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
$69,245.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE DELANE AVENUE
STORM WATER DETENTION IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo entered into a Professional Services Agreement with
Stanley Consultants, Inc., of Des Moines, Iowa, on March 11, 2019, in conjunction with the
Delane Avenue Storm Water Detention Improvements Project; and
WHEREAS, Supplemental Agreement No. 3 provides for additional professional services
necessary for the project, in an amount not to exceed $69,245.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that approval of Supplemental Agreement No. 3 is in
the best interests of the City of Waterloo.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. That Supplemental Agreement No. 3 to the Professional Services Agreement with
Stanley Consultants, Inc., of Des Moines, Iowa, originally executed March 11, 2019, in an
amount not to $69,245.00, in conjunction with the Delane Avenue Storm Water Detention
Improvements Project, is hereby approved.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents
on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of August 2026.
