RESOLUTION NO. 2026-472
RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 WITH STRAND
ASSOCIATES, INC., OF MADISON, WISCONSIN, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $302,000.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE DESIGN, BIDDING
AND CONSTRUCTION RELATED SERVICES AGREEMENT, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE FINAL EFFLUENT BUILDING
ELECTRICAL UPDATES PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo entered into an agreement with Strand Associates, Inc.,
of Madison, Wisconsin, for design, bidding, and construction -related services in conjunction
with the Final Effluent Building Electrical Updates Project; and
WHEREAS, Amendment No. 1 provides for additional services in connection with said
project, in the amount of $302,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that approval of Amendment No. 1 is in the best
interests of the City of Waterloo.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. That Amendment No. 1 with Strand Associates, Inc., of Madison, Wisconsin, in the
amount of $302,000.00, in conjunction with the design, bidding, and construction -related
services agreement for the Final Effluent Building Electrical Updates Project, is hereby
approved.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents
on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of August 2026.
