RESOLUTION NO. 2026-455
RESOLUTION APPROVING A DEVELOPMENT AND MINIMUM
ASSESSMENT AGREEMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $565,000.00 FOR
315 E. 4TH STREET AND 311 E. 4TH STREET AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, desires to encourage development and
redevelopment within the City; and
WHEREAS, a Development and Minimum Assessment Agreement has been prepared
concerning the properties located at 315 E. 4th Street and 311 E. 4th Street, Waterloo, Iowa; and
WHEREAS, the Agreement establishes a minimum assessment amount of $565,000.00
for the subject properties; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that approval of the Development and Minimum
Assessment Agreement is in the public interest and will further the development objectives of the
City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. That the Development and Minimum Assessment Agreement for the properties located
at 315 E. 4th Street and 311 E. 4th Street, Waterloo, Iowa, establishing a minimum assessment
amount of $565,000.00, is hereby approved.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents
on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17`" day of August 2026.
