RESOLUTION NO. 2026-456
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF
CITY -OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED SOUTH OF 3915 VALDEZ
DRIVE TO RAYMOND I. HARRIS AND CLOZELLE R. HARRIS IN
THE AMOUNT OF $1,576.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, owns real property located at 3915 Valdez
Drive; and
WHEREAS, Raymond I. Harris and Clozelle R. Harris, have offered to purchase said
property for $1,576.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the sale and conveyance of said property is in the
best interests of the City of Waterloo.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. That the sale and conveyance of the City -owned property located at 3915 Valdez Drive
to Raymond I. Harris and Clozelle R. Harris for the purchase price of $1,576.00, is hereby
authorized and approved.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents
on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of August 2026.
