RESOLUTION NO. 2026-458
RESOLUTION APPROVING A TEMPORARY EASEMENT
AGREEMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $100.00 WITH NICOLE L.
RUSSELL, LOCATED AT 1431 INGERSOLL ROAD, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE KATOSKI DRIVE/HUNTINGTON ROAD
RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is undertaking the Katoski Drive/Huntington
Road Reconstruction Project; and
WHEREAS, the Project requires the acquisition of a temporary easement interest in
certain property owned by Nicole L. Russell, located at 1431 Ingersoll Road, Waterloo, Iowa;
and
WHEREAS, Nicole L. Russell has agreed to grant the City a Temporary Easement
Agreement for the sum of $100.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that approval of the Temporary Easement Agreement
is necessary and in the best interests of the City to facilitate completion of the Katoski
Drive/Huntington Road Reconstruction Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. That the Temporary Easement Agreement with Nicole L. Russell, for property located
at 1431 Ingersoll Road, Waterloo, Iowa, in connection with the Katoski Drive/Huntington Road
Reconstruction Project, in the amount of $100.00, is hereby approved.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents
on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of August 2026.
