RESOLUTION NO. 2026-461
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE REQUEST BY THE CITY
OF WATERLOO FOR THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF
ADMORE ADDITION, A FOURTEEN -LOT RESIDENTIAL
SUBDIVISION LOCATED ALONG W. 3RD STREET AND
NORTON STREET WEST OF SERGEANT ROAD.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo has submitted a request for approval of the
preliminary plat of Admore Addition, a fourteen -lot residential subdivision located along W. 3rd
Street and Norton Street west of Sergeant Road; and
WHEREAS, the preliminary plat proposes the subdivision of the property into fourteen
residential lots; and
WHEREAS, the proposed subdivision has been reviewed by the Planning Department for
consistency with applicable subdivision regulations, zoning requirements, utility and
infrastructure requirements, and other City development standards; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that approval of the preliminary plat, is in the public
interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. That the request by the City of Waterloo for approval of the preliminary plat of
Admore Addition, a fourteen -lot residential subdivision located along W. 3rd Street and Norton
Street west of Sergeant Road, Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of August 2026.
