ROAD TRAIL REPAIRS, Contract No.

PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Coun-
cil of said City will conduct a pub-
lic hearing an the proposed plans:
specifications, form of contract, and
estimate of cost for the construction
of the above -described improvement
project at 5:30 p.m. on the Bth day
of September 2026 , said hearing to
be held in the Harold E. Getty Coun-
cil Chambers in City Hall In said City.
The proposed plans. specifications,.
form of contract, and estimate of cost
for said improvements heretofore pre-
pared by the City of Waterloo are now
on file in the office of the City Clerk
for public examination, and any per-
son interested therein may file written
objection thereto with the City Clerk
before the date set for said hearing.

SCOPE OF WORK
This project will replace six failing
wood tie railroad bridge drainage
structures along the Sergeant Road
Trail with adequately sized culverts,
located between south of Shaulis
Road and north of W. 3rd Street. Each
culvert location will include new con-
crete trail surface. Published pursuant
to the provisions of Chapter 26 of the
City Code of Iowa and upon order
to the City Council of said Waterloo,
Iowa, on the 17th day of August 2026.
