RESOLUTION NO. 2013-970
RESOLUTION APPROVING RECOMMENDATION OF AWARD
OF CONTRACT TO STICKFORT CONSTRUCTION OF
HUDSON, IOWA, IN CONJUNCTION WITH DEMOLITION
AND SITE CLEARANCE SERVICES [NO REGULATED
ASBESTOS CONTAINING MATERIALS (RACM)] OF 1001
LINDEN AVENUE, IN THE AMOUNT OF $31,650.00.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the Contract with Stickfort Construction of Hudson,
Iowa, in the amount of $31,650.00, in conjunction with Demolition
and Site Clearance Services (No RACM) of 1001 Linden Avenue,
described in the plans and specifications heretofore adopted by
this Council for said project with Resolution No. 2013-919 after
public hearing on November 12, 2013 on published notice required
by law, be and is hereby awarded, the same being the apparent
lowest bid for said project.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the said improvements, said
contract not to be binding on the City until approved by this
Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of November, 2013.
