RE: Approval of Sabre, Inc Contract
We are requesting approval of the enclosed Sabre, Inc. contract to assist in providing air
service development plans and strategies to increase passenger activity and revenues at
the Airport.
The City Council recently (December 04) held a public hearing and awarded a contract to
Sabre, Inc. for air service development services up to $100K. This is the contract itself,
which must also be approved by Council.
The contract is for three years. It also provides a 30-day termination to allow the Airport
Board to void the agreement in 30 days if warranted. Also, the Airport Board will
approve all work in advance.
This air service program is part of the Small Airport Air Service Development Program
and will be funded through a federal grant (96.5%), Airport ($1.75%), and Community
(1.75%).
