RE: Approval of ME&V Contract
We are requesting approval of the enclosed ME&V contract to assist in providing
marketing plans and strategies to increase passenger activity and revenues at the Airport.
The City Council recently (December 04) held a public hearing and awarded a contract to
ME&V for marketing services up to $300K. This is the contract itself, which must also
be approved by Council.
The contract is for one year with two one-year options. It also provides a 30-day
termination to allow the Airport Board to void the agreement in 30 days if warranted.
Also, the Airport Board will approve all work in advance.
This marketing program is part of the Small Airport Air Service Development Program
and will be funded through a federal grant (96.5%), Airport ($1.75%), and Community
(1.75%).
