RE: Award of Contract—Replacement of Hangar Roof
We request award of contract for replacement of hangar roof and door seals to Service
Roofing Company of Waterloo in the amount of$138,242 contingent upon receiving an
additional IDOT grant. Service Roofing was the lower of two bids received for this
project. The Airport Board has reviewed their forms and paperwork and are
recommending award of contract to Service Roofing
The IDOT is providing 100% of the funding for this project. We are requesting that we
award two contracts. The first is in the amount of$41,937.53 since we currently have
those funds available in an existing grant. We would also like to request the award of
contract for the remaining $96,304.47 contingent upon receiving an additional IDOT later
this year.
We also would like to request approval of the contract contingent upon av,arding only
that scope of work for which grant funds are available.
