RESOLUTION NO. 2005-934
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATED
COST, ETC. , IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ASBESTOS
REMOVAL OF STRUCTURES CONNECTED WITH
RIVERFRONT DEVELOPMENT PROJECT, CONTRACT NO.
123-AR-10-17-05 EDA.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed the Contracts and Grants Coordinator of said
City to prepare proposed plans, specifications, form of contract,
etc. , for the Asbestos Removal of Structures Connected With
Riverfront Development Project, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
known as Contract No. 123-AR-10-17-05 EDA, and
WHEREAS, said Contracts and Grants Coordinator did file said
preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. , for the
Asbestos Removal of Structures Connected With Riverfront
Development Project, known as Contract No. 123-AR-10-17-05 EDA,
which were preliminarily approved on October 3, 2005, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on October
17, 2005, and no objections were made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract and bond, etc. , for the Asbestos Removal of Structures
Connected With Riverfront Development Project, known as Contract
No. 123-AR-10-17-05 EDA, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be, and
the same are hereby, approved as filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of October, 2005 .
