RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO
ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES OF WATERLOO, IOWA FOR
ASBESTOS REMOVAL FOR 218-220 AND 222-224 WEST
2ND STREET, 118 EAST 10TH STREET, 116-118 EAST
8TH STREET AND 1218 SYCAMORE STREET, CONTRACT
NO. 133-AR-04-13-09-GO, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$9, 850 . 00 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Advanced Technologies of Waterloo, Iowa, in
the amount of $9, 850 . 00, for Asbestos Removal for 218-220 and
222-224 West 2nu Street, 118 East loth Street, 116-118 East 8th
Street and 1218 Sycamore Street, Contract No. 133-AR-04-13-09-GO,
described in the plans and specifications heretofore adopted by
this Council for said project, after public hearing on published
notice required by law, be and is hereby accepted.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of May, 2009 .
