RESOLUTION NO. 2009-262
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATED
COST, ETC. , IN CONJUNCTION WITH ASBESTOS
REMOVAL FOR 181 EAST 10TH STREET, 116-118
EAST 8TH STREET, 1218 SYCAMORE STREET, 218-
220 AND 222-224 WEST 2ND STREET, CONTRACT NO.
133-AR-04-13-09-GO.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed the Contracts and Grants Coordinator of
said City to prepare proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, etc . , for Asbestos Removal for 181 East 10th Street,
116-118 East 8th Street, 1218 Sycamore Street, 218-220 and 222-
224 West 2nd Street, Contract No. 133-AR-04-13-09-GO, in the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Contracts and Grants Coordinator did file said
preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc . , for
Asbestos Removal for 181 East loth Street, 116-118 East 8th
Street, 1218 Sycamore Street, 218-220 and 222-224 West 2nd
Street, Contract No. 133-AR-04-13-09-GO, which were preliminarily
approved on March 2 , 2009, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on April 6 ,
2009, and no objections were made .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, etc . , for Asbestos Removal for 181 East 10th Street,
116-118 East 8th Street, 1218 Sycamore Street, 218-220 and 222-
224 West 2nd Street, Contract No. 133-AR-04-13-09-GO, in the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, be, and the same are hereby, approved as
filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of April, 2009 .

currently under contract for Demolition. They are:
