RESOLUTION NO. 2009-176
RESOLUTION PRELIMINARILY APPROVING
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENT, FORM OF
CONTRACT, ESTIMATE OF COST, ETC. , FOR
ASBESTOS REMOVAL, CONTRACT NO. 133-AR-04-13-
09-GO.
WHEREAS, the City Council previously instructed the
Contracts and Grants Coordinator, to prepare and file plans,
specifications, form of contract and preliminary estimate of
cost, etc . , for Asbestos Removal, Contract No. 133-AR-04-13-09-
GO, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, as specified in the
specifications, and
WHEREAS, the Contracts and Grants Coordinator has filed said
plans, specifications, form of contract and preliminary estimate
of cost, etc . , and the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
having considered the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said plans, specifications, form of contract
and preliminary estimate of cost, etc . , be, and the same are
hereby preliminarily approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 211d day of March, 2009 .

Ward 3 Staff is seeking permission to solicit bids for the removal of asbestos from five(5) homes
currently under contract for Demolition. They are:

218-220 and 222-224 W. 2nd Street, all City-Owned structures
RON in Waterloo, Iowa city limits
