RESOLUTION NO. 2009-496
RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT WITH AUGUST
ENTERPRISES, L.L. C. OF JEFFERSON, IOWA AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID CONTRACT BY
MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the contract dated June 1, 2009, in the amount of $9, 495 . 00,
for Asbestos Removal for 723 , 731 and 745 Vinton Street and 302-
304 and 404 Fowler Street, Contract No. 134-AR-05-26-09-GO, by
and between August Enterprises, L.L. C. of Jefferson, Iowa and the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved, and
the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to execute the same in behalf
of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of June, 2009 .

On May 20, 2009, Staff received one (1) bid for the removal of asbestos for structures
HAGETT1LD addressed at: 723, 731 and 745 Vinton Street, and 302-04 and 404 Fowler Street. The
Ward 3 bid is reasonable.
