RESOLUTION NO. 2009-494
RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO AUGUST
ENTERPRISES, L.L. C. OF JEFFERSON, IOWA, FOR
ASBESTOS REMOVAL FOR 723 , 731 AND 745 VINTON
STREET AND 302-304 AND 404 FOWLER STREET,
CONTRACT NO. 134-AR-05-26-09-GO, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $9, 495 . 00 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of August Enterprises, L.L. C. of Jefferson,
Iowa, in the amount of $9, 495 . 00, for Asbestos Removal for 723 ,
731 and 745 Vinton Street and 302-304 and 404 Fowler Street,
Contract No. 134-AR-05-26-09-GO, described in the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
project, after public hearing on published notice required by
law, be and is hereby accepted.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of June, 2009 .
