RESOLUTION NO. 2008-871
RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO AUGUST
ENTERPRISES, L.L. C. OF JEFFERSON, IOWA, FOR
ASBESTOS REMOVAL, CONTRACT NO. 132-AR-09-29-
08-GO (120, 123 AND 133 ARGLE STREET) , IN THE
AMOUNT OF $3, 600 . 00, AND APPROVING SAID
CONTRACT AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID
CONTRACT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of August Enterprises, L.L. C. of Jefferson,
Iowa, in the amount of $3, 600 . 00, for Asbestos Removal, Contract
No. 132-AR-09-29-08-GO (120, 123 and 133 Argyle Street) ,
described in the plans and specifications heretofore adopted by
this Council for said project, after public hearing on published
notice required by law, be and is hereby accepted, the same being
the lowest bid received for said work.
That the Contract, by and between August Enterprises, L.L.C.
of Jefferson, Iowa, and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the
same is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized
to execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of October, 2008 .
