RESOLUTION NO. 2007-458
RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO KWS,
INC. OF CEDAR FALLS, IOWA, FOR THE BROADWAY
STREET TRAFFIC DETECTOR LOOPS, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $23, 515. 00 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of KWS, Inc. of Cedar Falls, Iowa, in the
amount of $23, 515 . 00, for the construction of the Broadway Street
Traffic Detector Loops, described in the plans and specifications
heretofore adopted by this Council for said project, after public
hearing on published notice required by law, be and is hereby
accepted, the same being the lowest bid received for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of June, 2007 .

GETTY Three contractors obtained bid documents for the above project. The only bid
wards received was from KWS, Inc. of Cedar Falls, Iowa, in the amount of$23,515.
