RESOLUTION NO. 2009-495
RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO FLOOR
DECOR OF WATERLOO, IOWA, FOR CARPET
REPLACEMENT FOR HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICE AND
CARPET AND TILE REPLACEMENT FOR SECOND FLOOR
OF CITY HALL, IN THE AMOUNT OF $33 , 140 . 00 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Floor Decor of Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount
of $33 , 140 . 00, for Carpet Replacement for Human Resources Office
and Carpet and Tile Replacement for Second Floor of City Hall,
described in the specifications heretofore adopted by this
Council for said project, after public hearing on published
notice required by law, be and is hereby accepted, the same being
the lowest bid received for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of June, 2009 .
