RESOLUTION NO. 2007-470
RESOLUTION APPROVING WAYNE CLAASSEN
ENGINEERING AND SURVEYING, INC. TO ENTER INTO
AGREEMENTS WITH WESTON® SOLUTIONS, INC. AND
TERRACON CONSULTANTS, INC.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the request of Wayne Claassen Engineering and Surveying,
Inc. to enter into agreements with WESTON® Solutions, Inc. and
Terracon Consultants, Inc. for additional consulting services at
a cost not to exceed $45, 000 . 00, in conjunction with the West
Commercial Street Extension, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this llth day of June, 2007 .

The City currently has an approved contract with Claassen Engineering & Surveying,
HAROLD Inc. (CES) for the design of the W. Commercial Street Extension through Tech Works,
GETTY which includes a storm water lift station.

JOHN A. Due to the environmental issues that must be properly addressed with the construction
KINCAID of this project, CES is seeking the expertise of WESTON® Solutions, Inc. and Terracon

WELTER has previously provided soil borings for the site.

BOB I am recommending that the City Council authorize CES to enter into agreements with
GREENWOOD WESTON® Solutions, Inc. and Terracon Consultants, Inc. for additional consulting
