RESOLUTION NO. 2005-816
RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO
FRICKSON BROTHERS EXCAVATING OF EVANSDALE,
IOWA, FOR GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND DEMOLITION
CONTRACT, CONTRACT NO. 139-D-GO-08-19-05, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $36,000.00.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Frickson Brothers Excavating of Evansdale,
Iowa, in the amount of $36,000.00, for the General Obligation Bond
Demolition Contract, Contract No. 139-D-GO-08-19-05, described in
the plans and specifications heretofore adopted by this Council
for said project, after public hearing on published notice
required by law, be and is hereby accepted, the same being the
lowest bid received for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of September, 2005.
