ward 1 This letter serves as a follow up to the Award Recommendation Letter dated August 29,2005.
There are four(4) structures listed in this demolition contract and bids were tendered on each.
CAROLYN (See,enclosed bid tabulation sheet).
COLE
Ward 22 On August 12, 2005,the ad hoc Vacant and Dilapidated Properties Committee decided to withhold
immediate demolition on: 205 Walnut Street,407 Pine Street, and 2554 Edgemont Street for
CLARK various reasons. Accordingly,within the base bid, only 415 Pine Street,a Western Homes-owned
Want 3 structure,will be demolished. The cost of demolishing this structure will be paid for by Western
Homes by making appropriate arrangements with the City involving the deposit of monies for the
JOHN A. cost thereof prior to demolishing proceeding.
KINCAID
Ward 4 City staff continues to work with property owners on transfer and demolition of 205 Walnut St.
ROB (Bickley House),possible rehabilitation of 2554 Edgemont Avenue, and likelihood or not of
WEEPERrestoration of 407 Pine Street.
Wards
In conclusion,415 Pine Street,at a cost of$6,000, paid for by Western Homes,will be the only
BOB structure demolished for now,while staff continues to resolve other issues.
